I feel inspired to write. A good friend taught me that through his own ramblings about the world and the sorry state he sees it in. I happen to agree that it's in a sorry state as well, yet feel differently about the reasons for it.
I will start by apologizing for any spelling or grammatical errors you might encounter when reading my blog. I type fast and tend to hit too many keys, or forget that the spacebar is there.
Now, with that said, I'd like to say something about my general view on things in the world.
PEOPLE ARE TOO CONCERNED WITH OTHER PEOPLES BUSINESS!
What happened to the good ole days when the United States attempted to keep to itself? I tire greatly of hearing things like ,"Its too late....its done now" or "The world needs us as its policeman".
To hell with that...the world needs us to BACK off. All across the world, people look at this country in disgust, yet many of us truly wonder why.
Do you see the Arab world targeting their anger at the Swiss? I think not. Would Kim Jong Il fire his newly acquired nukes at the tiny nation of Liechtenstein? I severley doubt it.
You might say comparing Switzerland and Liechtenstein to the US is crazy. Yes, it many ways it is. However, at the core of the discussion is one simple fact....they stay the hell out of it. Rightly so. Even the Danish are not immune, with their satirical cartoons about the Prophet Mohammed. (They also sent troops to aid in Bush's war).
Alas, I am rambling already, when the only point I wanted to make was this: The United States needs to keep out of the worlds business.
More to come....I have much to say. I hope it makes sense to you, and hope you can find it in you to be kind. This is my first blog, and the first time I have decided to speak my mind in a properly allocated forum.
